Description
This is the Rolex Submariner Date Ref. 16610LV, affectionately nicknamed the “Kermit,” originally released in 2003 to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Submariner. Unlike its black-bezel sibling, the 16610LV features a vibrant green aluminium bezel insert paired with a black Maxi dial, characterised by larger hour markers and broader hands for improved legibility.
This is a rare opportunity to own an unworn from new complete full set model, with the original stickers removed by kept and placed onto a bag, this is shown in the photos.
This reference is powered by the Rolex Calibre 3135, a COSC-certified automatic movement known for its durability and precision, with a 48-hour power reserve and instantaneous date at 3 o’clock under a Cyclops magnifier. The 40mm Oystersteel case features a unidirectional dive bezel, screw-down Triplock crown, and 300m (1,000ft) water resistance. It comes fitted with a classic Oyster bracelet and Fliplock clasp, offering robust comfort and adjustability.
