Description
This is a Rolex Cosmograph Daytona Ref. 116520, a highly desirable and now-discontinued model that represents the final generation of the stainless steel Daytona with an engraved steel bezel. This particular example features a white dial with contrasting black subdials, housed in a 40mm Oystersteel case and paired with the classic Oyster bracelet and Oysterlock folding clasp.
Introduced in 2000, the 116520 was the first Daytona to feature Rolex’s in-house calibre 4130 automatic chronograph movement, offering 72 hours of power reserve, vertical clutch, column wheel chronograph control, and Superlative Chronometer certification. The watch is water-resistant to 100 meters, features a screw-down crown and pushers, and remains a favorite among enthusiasts for its balanced proportions, reliable movement, and sporty elegance.
